
Building on its success, the SOLIS Tennis Open 2020 is back for the third year in a row. The tournament will start on March 7 and will run over three weekends to end on March 21; with the grand finale. This event organized by the Riverland Sports Club of Tamarin, in partnership with the Solis group, has become one of the flagship meetings of Mauritian tennis. Open to local and international players, this tournament promises its share of thrills.
It should be noted that several categories are included in the program: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 (girls and boys), singles and doubles (ladies and gentlemen), +40 years old singles and doubles (ladies and gentlemen) and + 50 years singles and doubles (gentlemen). A One Point Challenge and a mini-tennis are also on the agenda of the SOLIS Tennis Open 2020.
The innovation for this year’s competition is the handisport category (including both men and women). A dozen of players have registered in this category, among which are some who are ranked on the international level!
Registration for the tournament is open until February 27 through the registration forms available at the Mauritian tennis federation or at the Riverland Sports Club in Tamarin.
